Our Team

Bob was born and raised in Beloit.  He has practiced law in Beloit since 1972, and has been associated with the Blakely & Long Law Firm, Hansen, Eggers, Kelley & Blakely Law Firm, was “Of Counsel” with the Bolgrien, Koepke, Kimes & Livingston Law Firm, and is now in solo practice.

Since 1986, Bob has been teaching the Salesperson licensing course and since 1990, at Blackhawk Technical College,  when they were first required, the Continuing Education courses for Brokers and Salespersons. 

Bob has served on the Joint State Bar of Wisconsin/Wisconsin Realtors® Association License Law Task Force which reviewed Chapter 452 of the Wisconsin statutes to determine if the law effectively protected consumers while guiding licensees in the current market place. Bob also is an associate member of the Wisconsin Realtors® Association.

Bob has served on a panel of Subject Matter Experts for the Wisconsin Real Estate Examining Board in the 2003, 2008, 2010, 2016, 2018, 2022 and 2023 reviews of its salespersons and brokers test questions for accuracy, effectiveness and law changes.  He has also served as a Subject Matter Expert for a national real estate law testing company writing test questions for several states in 2020, 2023 and 2024.

Bob was appointed by Governor Scott Walker in 2011 and re-appointed in 2016 to the Wisconsin Real Estate Examining Board’s Real Estate Curriculum and Examinations Council, which advises the Real Estate Examining Board on teaching and testing real estate licensees.  Bob now serves as Chair of the council.

For Dearborn™ Real Estate Education, a division of Dearborn Financial Publishing, Inc.®, Bob reviewed for accuracy the 10th and 11th editions of the Wisconsin Real Estate Practice books, and wrote self-study test questions for the Wisconsin salesperson licensing test.

Bob has been a Rock County Supplemental Court Commissioner since 1979 and served on the Rock County Condemnation Commission.
